A few days ago, I set out on a hike through the mountains of Berat — and though I knew it would be beautiful, I didn’t expect it to be one of the most soulful adventures I’ve ever experienced.

It was 8:30 a.m. when our adventure began, departing from the charming Castle Park Hotel in Berat. We were eager to explore the raw, untouched nature in the heart of Albania. With the Albania Rafting Group guiding our journey, we set off toward the spectacular Osumi Canyon—a place we'd only seen in photos.
