The Albanian Rafting Federation is proud to announce the "National Rafting Championship" taking place from March 22nd to 23th, 2024, set against the stunning backdrop of the Vjosa River in the heart of Përmet city.

Event Schedule:
Day 1 - March 22, 2024 (18:00) The championship kicks off with a vibrant opening ceremony, featuring a parade of competitors proudly carrying their rafts along the city promenade of Permet. The day will also include training sessions and friendly competitions, along with welcoming speeches by representatives of the Federation and supporting institutions.
Day 2 - March 23, 2024 (13:00) The action intensifies with the H2H (Head to Head) race and Sprint competitions, featuring eliminations. Competitors from various sports teams and local guides will showcase their rafting prowess on the picturesque rivers of Albania, including the Osum River in Berat and Skrapar, the Vjosa River in Përmet and Tepelena, the Bence River in Tepelena, the Drinos in Gjirokastër, the Drini i Zi River in Dibër, Shkumbin river in Elbasan, and Bistrica river in Saranda.

The winners (first, second, and third place) will be announced, and the medal ceremony will take place during the "The Last Adventure Festival," welcoming both local and foreign citizens and tourists to celebrate the achievements of the participants.
Day 3 - March 24, 2024 (10:00-15.00)
Experience the Adventure: Throughout the championship, the Albanian Development Fund, in collaboration with local tourist agencies, will offer a variety of nature-based activities such as rafting, hiking, electric bike tours, kayaking, and festive evenings, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.
