Paradise for the Ambassador of the Netherlands Mr. Reinout Vos is "Mali Tomor"

The Dutch Ambassador Reinout Vos together with his wife Corien Vos were this weekend in the city of Berat invited by the mayor Mr. Ervin Demo for the "Wine and Stories of Berat" Festival which was held from October 21-23 where for for the first time, the best wineries of Berat, Albania and Kosovo are serving their wines to many local and foreign tourists while also enjoying culinary, cultural and musical activities.

The couple, who love the beautiful Albanian nature, chose to visit the famous Mount Tomori with the team of Albania Rafting Group, doing about 5 hours of hiking among oaks, oaks and pines, which in this period had taken on a golden color and had paved carpet of autumn colored leaves that seemed to dance as you walked.

They were amazed by the spectacular view, the aroma of flowers, leaves, earth and the sound of the hooves of goats and cows grazing in the lawns of Tomori.

They visited the ruins of the Pelasgian castle of Tomori and the spectacular 360 degree views it offers.

Their journey was made even more beautiful by the meeting with the residents of the area, such as Niku, who accompanied us with his mule the entire journey. Lunch was offered by Baftjari and his wife Lela, who returned to their village after 25 years of emigration in Greece. of birth "Qafë Dardhë" where they serve village food and have turned their house into the first Guesthouse in the village.

At the end of the trip, Ambassador Vos said that Mount Tomori is "Paradise" and that we must be very careful to protect it.

In fact, it is not the first time that the Dutch Ambassador was with our team, since in September he went rafting in the rapid and crystalline waters of Vjosa in Përmet.

As a nature lover, he will soon join us on other trips such as rafting in the canyons of Osum, kayaking and snowshoeing.
