Ali Spathara, member of the Albanian Rafting Federation, was part of the project co-financed by the Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Ych RP. The training conducted by TOPR instructors, and the basic equipment that our guests received are made possible thanks to the implementation of the project co-financed by the Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Ych RP.
From 4 to 9 December 2022 this group of representatives of various organizations from Albania as part of a volunteer search and rescue group, who are supposed to form a group of mountain rescue organizations in this mountainous mountainous mountain king.
The volunteer group for Mountain Rescue Research successfully completed the first step of a long-term cooperation with the elite Mountain Rescue Research group Tatrzańskie Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe - TOPR.
In these five days, the group of volunteers under the coordination of #AKMC became familiar with the best practices of Mountain Rescue Search, as well as developed several training activities such as transporting the injured with stretchers, rope descent, alpine hiking, etc.
This initiative was organized by the National Civil Protection Agency with the support and funding of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana/Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana
The General Directorate of the National Agency of Civil Protection Mr. Haki Čako together with the Ambassador of Poland in Albania, Mrs. Monika Zuchniak-Pazdan, wished success to the volunteer team for Mountain Rescue Search, of 10 people, who, under the coordination of the National Civil Protection Agency, traveled on Sunday to Zakopane, Poland for the first training for Mountain Rescue Search together with the company Volunteer (TOPR)".
The team consists of 8 members of the Albanian Federation of Mountaineering, the Albanian Federation of Rafting and Mountain Tourism, 2 coordinators, part of the staff of #AKMC in cooperation with the Albanian Federation of Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism and the Fire Protection and Rescue Association.
Mr. Çako and Mrs. Zuchniak-Pazdan, congratulated the team, wishing them further success of this initiative.
