About This Tour

The Osumi Canyon Rafting Tour takes place just 60 km from Berat, inside one of Albania’s most dramatic natural landscapes. Formed over more than three million years, the Osum Canyons are best experienced from the river itself, where towering limestone walls, sculpted rock formations, and hidden waterfalls surround you at every turn.

Rafting through the canyon feels like moving through deep geological time. Along the way, you’ll pass iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral, Champagne Waterfall, Devil’s Gate, and the legendary Love Waterfall, where local stories say a kiss beneath the cascade brings lasting love.

Rafting in Albania is generally accessible and suitable for beginners, especially on lower-difficulty sections. That said, every participant should feel comfortable with light physical activity and confident spending time on the river.

For your own comfort and enjoyment, it’s important to be in good general health and able to move freely. Rafting may not be suitable for guests with certain serious medical conditions, during pregnancy, or for anyone under the influence of alcohol or substances that could affect balance, awareness, or reaction time.

If you’re unsure whether rafting is right for you, we’re always happy to talk it through and help you decide.

For low-difficulty rafting (Class II, typically May to June), there are no age or weight limits, making it a great option for a wide range of travelers.
