Only 90 minutes from Tirana, surrounded by the hills and dense vegetation the pristine waters of the Ulza lake will appear.
The Ulza lake, a branch of the Mat river, offers an adventure through tamed crystal waters for all outdoor lovers.
Overview
For impressive scenery it’s hard to beat Lake Shkopet in the north – an amazingly scenic reservoir on Mat river with quiet small beaches and a huge hanging bridge. It is definitely one of the most magical places to visit in Albania!
Blissfully encircled by dense vegetation of the Mat gorge, it’s only a 90-minute drive from Tirana.
There you will find an amazing scene of village houses, untouched nature and small beaches are going to be our paddling place for about 2-2,5 hours. You will also have the opportunity to go for a swim if you want and if the weather is good.
While kayaking, the combination and variety of the green color of the trees, the turquoise color of the water and the blue sky will make you feel very relaxed.
We will paddle on the lake along pristine river beaches and farmhouses for about 3 hours with opportunity to jump in the turquoise green water whenever the weather is good.
To replenish our strength we will jump on land and go to a villager’s house where the fish based local lunch will take place, and you will try delicious seasonal vegetables and fresh river fish.

Meeting point – Tirana City Center at 9 a.m.
Drive to the central part of Albania, for 1.5 hours.
For the present activity you should love the outdoors, own good health condition and have consulted the doctor during the year. Kids over 5 years old are very welcomed.

Attention
! Kindly keep all your clothes and personal belongings in a backpack, which can be easily transported.
