Mali i Shiragut, previously known as "Enver Hoxha Mountain", is the little brother of the well known Mount Tomorri. “Shpiragu” is seen prominently when approaching Berat, though the gaze of the visiting tourist is usually attracted to the much more dramatic Tomorri.
Overview
As so often, the best views are not from the highest mountains, but from where the highest mountains can be seen up close and in all their full glory.
This way, we dare say that the best views of Tomorri can be seen from Shpiragut (or the road leading to Mali i Shpiragut).
Shpiragu is interesting in itself. It is not a difficult hike and absolutely worthwhile. From the distance, it looks like a mountain with stripes - many ridges leading from the main ridge to the east and the west. It is possible to pick virtually any of these and gain the main ridge.
The views in all directions are superb. You can see mountains across the border to Greece, Dajti Mountain near Tirana and even Mali i Dejes near Burrel seem to be within easy reach.

Things You Should Bring on the Hike:
Handbags, shoes that are suitable for walking, windproof clothing, gloves, scarf and extra clothing because the weather is not always the same. Avoid the cotton clothing (keeps moisture close to your skin). Do not forget warm hosiery and a warm waterproof jacket and hiking trousers. Sun shades and sunglasses;
Remember to pick candles to light up in the churches of "Saint Mary" and "Saint Delli" and Camera.
