What to Wear

Wear a swimsuit and light, sporty clothing such as shorts and a T-shirt that can get wet. Choose comfortable walking shoes or sneakers with good grip and non-slip soles.

And don’t forget a positive attitude, it makes the experience even better.


What to Bring

Bring sun protection cream, a spare change of clothes (including underwear, long trousers, and an extra T-shirt), and an additional pair of shoes. If needed, you can also use our shared activity shoes.

Getting to the Osumi Canyons
The only fully paved access road to the Osumi Canyons is via Berat. All other routes involve off-road sections and may require a 4x4 vehicle. Standard cars are not recommended on these alternative routes.

After exploring the Osumi Canyon, many guests choose to slow the day down rather than rush onward. If you’d like to stay overnight, accommodation can be arranged upon request.

In Berat, you can relax at Castle Park Hotel, a peaceful hotel set just outside the historic center. Surrounded by greenery, it’s an ideal place to shower, unwind, enjoy a good meal, and rest after a day in the canyon.

For travelers continuing their journey south, riverside glamping is also available at the Albania Rafting Group base in Përmet. Here, safari-style tents with proper beds and shared facilities offer a simple but comfortable stay close to nature, perfect for ending the day by the river.

Both accommodation options are not included in the tour price and can be added in advance, subject to availability.
