About This Tour

Meeting Point & Schedule
The meeting point is Castle Park Hotel at approximately 8:30 a.m. The exact timing will be confirmed in advance in coordination with the rafting manager.
Pickup can also be arranged from any hotel or guesthouse in Berat, as well as from other cities across Albania, upon request.
Duration & Flow of the Day
Transfer Berat – Osumi Canyons (Çorovodë) – Berat takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours round trip. Preparation, safety briefing, and the rafting experience last approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, followed by a 1-hour local lunch.
Staying in Berat or by the River
If you choose to stay after the rafting experience, we can arrange accommodation at Castle Park Hotel, located just below Berat Castle, offering comfort, character, and excellent local cuisine with generous breakfasts made from fresh, regional products.
For a more nature-focused stay, riverside safari-style glamping is also available in the Përmet area, set in a quiet environment near the Vjosa River. This option offers proper beds, comfortable tents, and a relaxed atmosphere under the stars.
With extra time, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the cultural and natural highlights of Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its history, architecture, and laid-back rhythm.
Osumi canyon, Skrapar, Berat
This VIP experience includes a private 4x4 jeep safari transfer from Berat to the canyon and back, ensuring comfort and flexibility throughout the day. The rafting is led by some of the most experienced and skilled guides in the region, offering a more personalized and refined experience on the river.
You’ll enjoy exclusive rafting, away from larger groups, with professional photos and videos captured during the trip so you can focus fully on the adventure. The day concludes with a traditional lunch in Skrapar, featuring local flavors that reflect the region’s culinary heritage.
Anything not specifically mentioned in the itinerary is not included, such as coffee, additional drinks, or extra food. While guests often feel inclined to tip the guides after a great experience, gratuities are entirely optional. We want you to relax and enjoy the trip without feeling the need to reach for your wallet along the way.

Rafting in Albania is generally gentle and beginner-friendly, especially on lower-difficulty sections of the river. Most guests with a normal level of fitness and comfort around water find the experience enjoyable and accessible.
All we ask is that participants feel well on the day of the activity and are able to take part comfortably in light physical movement. Rafting may not be suitable in certain situations, such as during pregnancy or if something might affect balance, awareness, or overall comfort on the river.
