Earth Day was first celebrated on April 22, 1970. It became a topic of discussion as more than 20 million Americans took to the streets to protest environmental ignorance by the government. Since then, it has been an annual event.

For the team of "Albania Rafting Group" the protection of land, rivers, forests and nature is very important because in this only land we have we perform all tourist sports for our tourists. There are dozens of cases of denunciation by our team to persons and groups who wanted to destroy canyons, cliffs, mountains and forests where we do rafting, canyon exploration, hiking, mule caravan, snowshoeing, thirst kayaking

Thanks to our denunciations and the support of thousands of nature lovers from the Albanian society and national and international institutions we have managed to protect some of our natural resources such as the protection of Osum canyons from destruction by hydropower plants, Vjosa River, sacred mountain Tomor from indiscriminate use of stone, Tomori forests from massive felling of perennial trees, Bistrica river from pollution without criteria thirst

The theme of Earth Day 2021 is 'The Return of Our Earth'. It focuses on natural processes, green technologies, innovative ideas that can restore the world’s ecosystems.

It is up to each of us to Recover our Earth because we live in it. We all need a healthy Earth to do our jobs, to live healthy and happy. A healthy planet is not an option, it is a necessity,
